The Crafton Public Library will accept donated used books and non-book materials in good condition ON SATURDAYS. 

Our professional staff evaluates donations using the same criteria they use for purchased materials. We appreciate you thinking of the Crafton Public Library and your generous donation!

Items we accept:

  • Books that are gently used with little or no damage
  • DVDs and CDs that are in working condition
  • Magazines (in lobby bin)
     

Items we DO NOT accept:

  • Books that are badly damaged (ripped covers or pages, water damage, stains)
  • Books that are moldy
  • Books that smell of smoke or other musty scents
  • VHS and cassette tapes
  • Medical journals, encyclopedias, old textbooks, or old computer books
  • Large collections of magazines

 

How donations may be used:

  • Books in excellent condition may be added to our collection.
  • Books may be used for book sales.
  • Books may be placed on the free cart to share with the public.
